Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Palm City, FL

Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services in an educational environment. As the sole SLP on-site, you’ll have an opportunity to work directly with a diverse caseload, focusing on resource therapy within a supportive school community.

This is a part-time, on-site role — just two days a week, 7 hours each day, totaling 14 hours per week. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through early June, allowing you to provide consistent and meaningful support throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently as the only on-site SLP
• Familiarity with resource therapy for grades PK–8
• Ability to meet district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting (prior prints in the ACHA Clearinghouse can expedite this process)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic speech and language services to students in grades PK through 8
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation for each case
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience
• Serve as a resource for faculty and families regarding speech and language development
