\nPosition Highlights
\nAs an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively with experienced physicians and APP colleagues while practicing the full scope of your training and expertise.
\nYou will evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries, providing timely, patient-centered care in a highly respected urgent care network.
\nClinical Responsibilities Include
\n- \n
- Treatment of acute illnesses and injuries \n
- Laceration repair, suturing, and staple removal \n
- Incision and drainage procedures \n
- Splinting and casting \n
- Wound care management \n
- EKG interpretation \n
- Preliminary X-ray interpretation \n
- IV therapy and medication administration \n
- DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals \n
- Care for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics \n
Schedule
\nFull-Time | 38 Hours Per Week I Flexible schedule for Part-time 24 hours
\nRotating schedule within clinic hours:
\n- \n
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM \n
- Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM \n
Weekend rotations are shared across the provider team.

\nProviders may work at multiple Fairfield County locations, including:

- Fairfield \n
- Norwalk \n
- Westport \n
- Stamford \n
- Shelton \n
- Stratford \n
- Monroe \n
- Wilton \n
\nQualifications\n
\n
Required
\n- \n
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program \n
- Connecticut APRN or PA license (or eligibility) \n
- FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification \n
- Minimum of one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience \n
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages \n
Preferred

- Urgent Care experience \n
- Occupational Medicine experience \n
- DOT certification or experience performing DOT physicals \n
