Overview:
\n Our well-established home health agency is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide private duty care for a patient in their home. Our role offers a slower-paced, patient-focused environment with predictable weekend daytime hours. You will deliver one-on-one nursing care while supporting comfort, safety, and independence.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
\n
• Part-time position
\n
• Competitive pay: $89,000/year (DOE)
\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to a private duty patient in their home
\n
• Monitor vital signs regularly and report changes to the provider
\n
• Administer medications safely according to the plan of care
\n
• Maintain catheter care and other clinical tasks per the plan of care
\n
• Document care, observations, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
\n
• Educate the patient and family on care needs and treatment plans
\n
• Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
\n
• Provide transportation and companionship to appointments and activities
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
\n
• Home health or private duty experience preferred
\n
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
\n
• Comfortable working in a home environment with household pets
\n
