Position Overview
\nAs Managing Veterinarian, you will:

- Provide medical leadership and ensure the highest standards of patient care. \n
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians and medical staff. \n
- Partner with the Hospital Manager to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. \n
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture that promotes exceptional client service and staff satisfaction. \n

Key Responsibilities
\nAdvancing Medical Care
\n- \n
- Oversee medical and surgical cases to ensure quality outcomes and client satisfaction. \n
- Establish and maintain hospital medical standards and protocols. \n
- Support client communication and education throughout the care process. \n
- Manage medical inventory and control costs effectively. \n
Leadership and Team Development
\n- \n
- Participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring veterinarians and staff. \n
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional guidance. \n
- Ensure all medical staff receive appropriate training and continuing education. \n
- Partner with the Hospital Manager on staff development and compliance programs. \n
Financial and Operational Management

- Support the hospital’s financial health through efficient operations and strategic growth. \n
- Participate in annual planning and budgeting. \n
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements where needed. \n
Practice Growth and Community Engagement

- Foster client loyalty and encourage community involvement. \n
- Embrace innovation and change that enhances patient care and team performance. \n
- Support marketing and growth initiatives aligned with hospital goals. \n

Qualifications
\n- \n
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution. \n
- Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of Michigan. \n
- Proven leadership experience within a veterinary setting preferred. \n
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. \n
