Our feline practice located inWestern New York is seeking another feline focused, progressive, andenthusiastic associate veterinarian to join our team!

Summer Street Cat Clinic wasestablished over 40 years ago and has been highly regarded in the communitieswith a very loyal and growing clientele. There are two locations: Getzville andBuffalo which are just 20 minutes apart. Our Getzville location borders theState University at Buffalo. We have lots of walking trails right outside thehospital and a backyard to relax in. Our downtown Buffalo location is abeautifully renovated carriage house that offers a historical vibe having beenbuilt in the late 1800’s and in the heart of the historical district. Thislocation is very cozy, efficient, and charming. Clients are known to go backand forth between the two as well as our team members, but we are flexible toyour needs.

As an associate veterinarian ofSummer Street Cat Clinic, you will be a part of the only all feline hospital inWestern New York. We know that veterinary care is not one size fits all,especially with cats, that is why we strive to tailor our care based on theneeds of the patient and their family. We also have regular staff meetings toensure that we are providing best practices for our clients, patients, andstaff. Having many years ofexperience helping others, mentorship is a big focus of ours, so we welcome newgraduates. Currently we are a 4 doctorveterinarian practice. We have been privately running for almost 40 years butrecently decided to join National Veterinary Associates, who owns manynon-branded hospitals throughout the U.S. and other countries. More than 50% ofour employees have been with us for more than 15 years, some even since thebeginning (1981). We cultivate a supportive environment where you can grow andfeel appreciated. Our services consist of preventative medicine, behaviorconsultations, weight management and nutrition, surgery, and dentistry. DigitalRadiology and Cardiac Ultrasound. No critical care, on call or boarding. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits and incentives designed to support your personal and professional growth.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $110,000-$130,000

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in New York state.
