Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity in Marion, SC for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

This priority opening is for an Self-Contained classroom serving K4–5th grade students. The caseload consists of approximately 13 students with the support of two classroom assistants.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Special Education certification, Multi-categorical preferred
• Experience in self-contained settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
• Ability to provide individualized instruction and support

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs
• Provide direct and supplemental instruction
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with school staff and families
• Ensure compliance with state and district special education guidelines
