Seeking an experienced educational paraprofessional for a contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Aurora, CO. This role centers on providing essential support to students within specialized programs and requires adaptability, a strong understanding of behavioral interventions, and the ability to work confidently with significant/severe caseloads. Experience in school settings is highly valued. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may change among school sites and different age groups based on evolving student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous paraprofessional experience within school settings, especially with behavioral support
• Extensive background managing significant/severe caseloads preferred
• Flexibility to work with different age groups and change locations when needed
• Reliable personal transportation (public transit, taxis, rideshares not accepted)
• Punctual arrival: 7:40am (elementary), 8:00am (middle/high)
• Willingness to assist with toileting and diapering as required
• Ability to pass a district fingerprinting/background check (no felony or misdemeanor charges)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and positive behavior reinforcement to students
• Collaborate with lead teachers and multidisciplinary teams to implement educational and behavioral plans
• Support students with daily tasks, including mobility, activities, and hygiene care as necessary
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment that meets each student’s unique needs
• Adapt to new classrooms, student populations, and locations as assignment requires

This contract runs from August 11 to May 21, 2027.
