\nCritical Care Advanced Practice Practitioner at Goldsboro, NC
\nUNC Health Wayne is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Inpatient Critical Care department in Goldsboro, NC. This position provides an excellent opportunity to practice at the top of your license, to help design and establish your workflow, and welcomes enthusiastic and hard-working new grads willing to learn from ICU attendings with decades of experience. The position also offers extremely competitive recently adjusted guaranteed compensation plus excellent quality bonuses and benefits.
\nAt UNC Health Wayne, you will work with a great team of ICU providers, both MDs and APPs. You will be led by two knowledgeable and caring Critical Care and Pulmonology attending physicians with decades of experience in their fields. You will also work very closely with the hospitalist team at UNC Health Wayne. Our documentation templates and AI documentation assistance tools are designed to help transitions of care and decrease the time-consuming task of documentation.

\nWe are searching for an APP capable of caring for critical care patients independently (with MD support and backup), and comfortable with procedures such as central line placements, intubations, and chest tube placement. \nResponsibilities:

- Manage critical care patients along with your ICU and hospitalist colleagues – you will work with your teammates to help establish optimal workflows to fit your skill level and patient needs \n
- Respond to acute medical events such as rapid responses and codes \n
- Perform ICU admissions and critical care consults \n
- Work closely with your ICU and Hospitalist Teammates \n

- Graduation from an accredited PA Program or NP Program with a critical care focus (Preferred) \n
- North Carolina licensed and BLS/ACLS certified \n
