Job Description
Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a dedicated Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to collaborate with our Pediatric Anesthesiology team in Indianapolis, IN!
\nPosition Details:
\n- \n
- Full-time, salaried role with overtime opportunities available (7:00am-5:00pm) \n
- In-house call split between dedicated night team and rotating day/night team \n
- Join a large and supportive team of 30 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 23 Pediatric CRNA and CAAs \n
- 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities \n
- Perform pre-anesthetic prep and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, post-anesthesia care and peri-anesthetic clinical support functions under direction of anesthesiologist. \n
- Anesthesia related procedures (including but not limited to): \n
- \n
- IV placement \n
- Airway management \n
- Arterial & central catheter placement \n
- General & regional anesthesia \n
- Neuraxial anesthesia \n

Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:\n
- \n
- Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program \n
- Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification \n
- Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training \n
\n - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:\n
- \n
- Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs \n
- Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists \n
- Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training \n
\n - Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications \n
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana \n
