Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a primary healthcare facility and its satellite clinics. This travel opportunity offers a 13-week assignment focused on delivering patient-centered care across diverse populations including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.

Location:

  • Los Lunas, NM (with service at main campus and satellite clinics in a regional healthcare network)

Schedule:

  • 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
  • Week schedule: Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and medication management in accordance with organizational policies
  • Work rotational shifts inclusive of days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Advance clinical pharmacy services through tiered roles from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist
  • Manage specialized pharmacy clinics and develop clinical programs aimed at quality care improvements
  • Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations, supervising pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers
  • Assist in the administration and direction of pharmacy policies, programs, and activities aligned with the organization’s mission and values

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state, territory, or District of Columbia (no Arizona license required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist and at least 1 year as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting clearance prior to start

Preferred Experience:

  • Interest in gaining experience within Indian Health Services environments
  • Willingness to work within a culturally diverse community, including Native American populations

Housing:

  • Local housing available on reservation for approximately $600/month, or option to commute about an hour from Flagstaff
