Step into an engaging opportunity to provide district-wide occupational therapy services within an established school community just outside Bellows Falls, VT. This full-time contract role spans the entire academic year, supporting students in grades K-12 across four school buildings. Your expertise in school-based OT will make a significant impact, fostering student growth through individualized strategies and collaborative teamwork.

As the dedicated Occupational Therapist, you’ll deliver assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement interventions that inspire confidence, skill-building, and academic success. This role provides the chance to engage with a diverse student population, work alongside passionate educators and support staff, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont OT Certificate (required)
  • Previous experience providing occupational therapy in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of educationally relevant OT assessments and IEP processes
  • Comfort working across multiple schools with students in K-12 settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptable approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students district-wide
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support students’ educational experiences
  • Maintain complete, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Travel between four buildings to deliver services as scheduled

This position offers a consistent full-time commitment of 35-37.5 hours weekly from late August through mid-June, providing the perfect platform to develop strong school relationships and see progress unfold throughout the school year.
