This assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through November 4, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker license (IL SSW)
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, specifically with elementary-age students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting student success, equity, and well-being

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct social work services to students in grades K through 5
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address academic, social, or behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement student support plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Foster a positive, inclusive school environment

This role offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM, onsite only. You'll be part of a dedicated school community making a daily difference for students during a crucial stage of their development.
