Job Description

Support two colleagues on FMLA leave, with the potential to cover assignments tentatively scheduled from August through November and October through January. This full-time position requires 35 to 37.5 hours each week, allowing you to immerse yourself in a collaborative educational environment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech Language Pathology license (SLP) and Professional Educator License (PEL) are required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with preschool caseloads, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new routines and work effectively with diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and IEP contributions
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Support smooth transitions for students while collaborating on shared cases and team goals
