Key Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

• The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Operates within the organization's policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability.
• Ensures adherence to practice standards while coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to guarantee high-quality nursing services.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:

• For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is advantageous (refer to addendum).
• Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
