This contract opportunity runs from September 1, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, and is located near Plymouth, MA. You'll work closely with a diverse student population, providing targeted support and fostering a welcoming, engaging atmosphere that encourages growth for all learners.
What You Bring:
- DESE Special Education Teaching Certification for grades 5–12 (required)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within high school settings
- Familiarity with inclusion classrooms and adapting curriculum for varying learning needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students with diverse abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Creating and implementing lesson plans tailored to students’ IEP goals within an inclusion classroom
- Collaborating closely with general education staff, support professionals, and families to ensure student success
- Monitoring academic and behavioral progress and maintaining accurate records
- Providing modifications and accommodations to support high school students’ educational development
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
- Working with a caseload size to be determined
This position provides a steady schedule at 35 hours per week with competitive compensation at $45 per hour, along with weekly pay.
