Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A unique opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) licensed in Ohio, Massachusetts, California, or Illinois to support a specialty compounding pharmacy in obtaining a Nuclear Regulatory License (NRL) permit. The PIC role is critical, as state licensure is required to fulfill permit application requirements. This contract position offers flexibility depending on your license and location preferences, with varying hours and site options.

Location Options & Schedule:

  • California Specialty Pharmacy: 30 hours/week onsite, M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (CA licensed)
  • Ohio Specialty Pharmacy: 30 hours/week onsite, M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (MA or OH licensed)
  • Ohio Specialty Pharmacy: 8 hours/week onsite, M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (OH or IL licensed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist in Charge to meet state regulatory requirements for NRL permit acquisition
  • Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and professional standards
  • Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure proper documentation and licensing adherence
  • Collaborate with site management to maintain high-quality specialty compounding services during the permit approval process

Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist license in one or more of the following states: California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio
  • Willingness to serve as PIC and hang license accordingly
  • Experience in specialty compounding pharmacy practice preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
