Locums Hospitalist Physician Assistant in Lenoir, North Carolina - 7 On 7 Off, Admissions Focus

Focus on overnight adult admissions with a preferred 7-on, 7-off schedule, independent workflow, and virtual physician consultation available when needed.


Highlights


  • Admissions-focused nocturnist role

Practice & Cases


  • Adult inpatient hospitalist coverage with an open ICU
  • Primary responsibility is admissions without cross-cover or rounding
  • Work independently with virtual physician consultation available
  • Central line and intubation skills needed for urgent situations

Schedule


  • 12-hour night shifts
  • 7-on, 7-off blocks preferred
  • No call outside scheduled shift responsibilities

Requirements


  • Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active North Carolina license required
  • BLS and DEA required

  • Lodging and mileage are provided
  • Drive-in candidates only - airfare is not provided
