Mercy Health St. Ritas Pulmonary in Lima, Ohio is seeking an acute nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our busy practice. We offer a family-oriented environment and positive culture where teamwork is valued and quality care for our patients is our top priority.

Position Highlights:

• Evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient setting.
\n
• Take night and weekend call.
\n
• Weekend inpatient hospital rounding treating current Pulmonary patients & new consults 1:5, 1 holiday/year.
\n
• Night call 4:30 PM to 8 AM the next morning.
\n
• Respond to patient calls
\n
• Complete in-basket
\n
• Manage patient results and prescribe medications.
\n
• Travel to satellite location and provide patient care.
\n
• Adult and Geriatric
\n
• Work with Medical Students and Residents
\n
• Strong physician and peer collaboration
\n
• Clinical schedule: M-R 8AM-4PM, Friday 8A to noon.
\n
• Education and Skills Required:
\n
• Acute trained nurse practitioner or certified physician assistant.
\n
• Current licensure with the state of Ohio
\n
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
\n
