Key Responsibilities

The staff nurse plays a vital role in delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life. Utilizing nursing processes, the nurse will:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Operate within the organization's policies and procedures.
• Exhibit professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain high standards of practice.
• Coordinate care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

QualificationsMinimum Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience

• New graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.

Licensure and Certification

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification is required.

Additional Qualifications

• For PRN roles, one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
