What You’ll Need:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona
• Experience working with K-2 students in a resource or cross-categorical environment preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and differentiated instructional strategies
• Ability to foster a supportive, positive classroom environment for students with varying academic and behavioral needs
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills

Your Role Will Involve:

• Delivering individualized instruction to students according to IEPs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to promote student success
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on student progress and goals
• Engaging with families to discuss student needs, progress, and strategies for continued growth
• Creating lesson plans and adapting curriculum based on student strengths and needs
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of effective educational plans
