Dates: 1-2 weeks per month; August 3-9, September 7-13, and ongoing

Setting: Inpatient, with 24-hour on-call duty from 7 AM to 7 AM

Patient Volume: 10-15 patients per day

Job Details

The role involves providing coverage for stroke and general neurology inpatient services. You will be supported by three Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who handle stroke coverage (1-2 NPs per shift) and one NP dedicated to general neurology coverage (Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM).

EMR System: Epic

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified
• Possess an active Louisiana medical license or an active IMLC
