We are seeking a dedicated OBGYN to join our Hospitalist group in Huntsville, Alabama. This position offers a NO CALL schedule, providing you with the ideal work/life balance you desire.

About the Role

The OBGYN will focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based healthcare. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing coverage for the OB Emergency Department
  • Attending deliveries
  • Assisting in surgical procedures
  • Managing minor procedures for urgent conditions

You will be part of a committed team that includes board-certified and board-eligible physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

About the Facility

Our facility, dedicated to the care of women, infants, children, and adolescents, is a standalone hospital that offers the most comprehensive maternal and pediatric programs in the region. Highlights include:

  • Approximately 4,500 births and 16,000 admissions annually
  • In-house anesthesia services
  • 20 Labor, Delivery, Recovery rooms
  • 3 Operating rooms for labor and delivery
  • A newly renovated 5-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit
  • A 10-bed OB/GYN Emergency Department
  • A Maternal Fetal Medicine Program
  • An 11-bed High-Risk Antepartum Unit
  • An Adult Intensive Care Unit
  • A Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

We are proud to be the only facility in the region with a Level III NICU, offering specialized pediatric subspecialties, a Pediatric Emergency Room, and a St. Jude Children's Research Hospital affiliate clinic for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
