This physician will play a critical role in the evaluation and management of patients with connective tissue diseaseassociated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD)a complex and rapidly growing subset of our ILD population. The role is designed to integrate rheumatologic expertise directly into the ILD care model, working side-by-side with pulmonology, transplant, and multidisciplinary specialty teams.
\nThe successful candidate will contribute to:

- Enhanced diagnostic accuracy for CTD-ILD \n
- Optimization of autoimmune disease management in ILD patients \n
- Support of lung transplant evaluation and longitudinal care for complex rheumatologic patients \n
- Expansion of regional and tertiary referral pathways for advanced lung disease \n

\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Provide specialized rheumatologic care for ILD patients, with a focus on CTD-ILD \n
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary ILD conferences and transplant evaluation discussions \n
- Collaborate closely with pulmonology, transplant, cardiology, radiology, and pathology teams \n
- Support longitudinal management of patients undergoing lung transplant evaluation and post-transplant care \n
- Contribute to program development, clinical innovation, and potential research initiatives in ILD \n
- Joint Rheumatology-ILD clinic \n
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
\n- \n
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology \n
- Demonstrated comfort and effectiveness working in multidisciplinary clinical teams (Rheumatology, ILD, Transplant) \n
- Deep clinical understanding of connective tissue diseases including:\n
- \n
- Systemic sclerosis \n
- Rheumatoid arthritisassociated ILD \n
- Myositis-associated ILD \n
- Sjgrens syndrome \n
- Mixed connective tissue disease \n
\n - Familiarity with or strong interest in lung transplant evaluation and care \n
- Commitment to collaborative care, clinical excellence, and program growth \n
Special Training & Experience
\n- \n
- Fellowship training in Rheumatology \n
- Additional expertise or fellowship training in myositis strongly preferred \n
- Clear passion for and clinical focus on interstitial lung disease \n
