A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail pharmacy setting in Burnham, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations while fostering team collaboration and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Burnham, PA
Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
  • 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
  • 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts
    Hours Bi-Weekly: 62 hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong collaboration with store operations and communicate strategic goals to pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription dispensing through Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Manage business operations to optimize profitability and drive prescription growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Collaborate with management and pharmacy teams to control inventory and meet customer demand effectively.
  • Align department performance with key measurable metrics for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
  • Interact professionally with physicians and utilize reference resources to resolve prescription issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the department, prioritize daily tasks such as cycle counts, inventory, and will-calls.
  • Promote ongoing training and development of pharmacy personnel to enhance performance and reduce turnover.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
