A retail pharmacist role is available in Newport, PA, offering a direct hire opportunity with full-time hours and a variable day/afternoon shift schedule. This position requires collaboration with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate company strategy effectively. The pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions, managing inventory to meet customer demands, and supporting clinical program growth including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

Key responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, directing training and development, maintaining pharmacy security, and delivering exceptional customer service by resolving issues and providing healthcare counseling. The role also involves interacting with physicians, keeping the department organized, and prioritizing daily pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts and will-call management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings with strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Ability to lead and manage pharmacy associates and workflows efficiently
