Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or support role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners and maintain a patient, encouraging attitude
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team with teachers and support staff
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or relevant certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing lessons and fostering an encouraging learning environment
- Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
- Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized strategies and accommodations
