Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active OT license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certification from NBCOT
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs and environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ motor skills, sensory needs, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in collaboration with school teams
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct interventions that facilitate students’ participation and success across various school activities
• Educate and collaborate with teachers and family members to support carryover of therapeutic strategies in different settings
• Stay current with best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements for school-based OT
