Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Demonstrated experience working with students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with parents, staff, and support personnel
• Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets each student’s unique needs
• Assess and track student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Partner with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices
• Communicate regularly with families, fostering positive relationships and ongoing progress reporting
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
