Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This full-time, in-person opportunity will support students across Pre-K through 8th grade and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting.
School Sites & Caseload
Prospect: Pre-K–Kindergarten
Kirk: Grades 5–8
Support students with various disabilities and learning needs
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and academic support based on individual student needs
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Track student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and special education documentation
Ensure services and documentation align with applicable special education requirements
Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher with experience supporting students with a variety of disabilities. Candidates should be comfortable working with both early childhood and middle school students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing individualized, student-centered instruction.
