Assignment Details:

  • Full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week)
  • Two roles available:
    • BridgeView: Setting 4, middle school, developmental cognitive delays, some wheelchair use, mild behavior support
    • Farnsworth Lower: Setting 3, elementary school, ASD/DCD, caseload of 6-9 students

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid licensure as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience or passion for working with students who have developmental or cognitive disabilities
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and positive approach in the classroom
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized, high-quality educational services to meet students’ IEP goals
  • Coordinate with support staff, therapists, and families to create optimal learning environments
  • Employ diverse instructional strategies adapted to student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Support inclusion, mobility, and behavior plans as needed
