CNC Machinist

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

Perform in-process and final inspection using precision measuring instruments

Maintain tight tolerances and ensure dimensional accuracy of machined parts

Work with a variety of metals and machining materials

Maintain safe, clean, and organized workstation practices

Document production activities and maintain quality records

Support continuous improvement in machining processes and efficiency

Qualifications and Certifications

Proven experience in CNC machining operations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges

Strong understanding of machining processes and tool setups

Basic mathematical ability for machining calculations

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
