Position Details

• Hours: Full-Time Nights, 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 available

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will serve as a key representative of the patient care team, acting as a liaison between patients, families, providers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Coordination: Assist in developing care plans and take necessary actions to enhance patients' short- and long-term outcomes. Deliver care as outlined, using independent judgment when necessary. Collaborate and communicate care plans with relevant staff.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, changes in condition, care provided, education given, and any incidents related to care standards or hospital policies.
• Education: Act as a resource for patients and families regarding health-related topics. Share essential patient information with families, licensed providers, and other staff members.
• Patient-Centered Care: Embrace the principles of patient- and family-centered care to ensure satisfaction among patients, families, staff, and physicians. Prioritize actions based on patient needs and contribute to care plans by reporting relevant information while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Performance Improvement: Offer suggestions for identifying solutions and support the implementation of changes. Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, staff morale, and organizational financial health. Complete all mandatory training and proactively seek out development opportunities.
• Professional Leadership: Mentor and guide fellow nurses, promoting the nursing profession and assisting in the recruitment of new nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Registered Nurse license (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
