An exciting opportunity is available for skilled paraprofessionals to provide critical support across multiple elementary and secondary campuses. As a valued substitute paraprofessional, you will help cover contractor call outs throughout the academic year, assisting students with special needs in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Active substitute certificate with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), or in process (must be active before starting)
  • Experience supporting students in school settings, particularly with behavior needs, BIPs, or special education
  • Ability to assist with toileting and other personal care tasks as needed
  • Background check and district-specific fingerprinting required
  • Comfort working 1:1 or in classroom aide roles across a variety of grades and schools
  • Familiarity with substitute management apps is a plus

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to daily call outs and pick up per diem assignments via a dedicated app
  • Support special education classrooms, helping students meet their educational and behavioral goals
  • Work closely with certified staff in implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Foster a safe, positive environment for all learners
  • Adapt to varying schedules: Middle schools (7:00–2:30), High schools (7:30–3:00), and Elementary schools (8:30–4:00 or 9:00–4:30)
  • Commit to flexible availability, from one to five days each week depending on your preference
