Special Education Teacher - Osseo, MN

Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a Special Education Resource Teacher working on-site with elementary students. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with regular weekday hours (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week). Your focus will be on providing individualized support and instruction to students in an elementary resource setting, fostering growth academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience in special education, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
• Current resume and MN Teaching Certification required with application

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and classroom support for students with diverse learning needs
• Create and modify instructional materials aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Work closely with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, providing updates and resources
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and professional development activities
