Pharmacist | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

An exciting opportunity is available for two inpatient pharmacists to support a renowned children’s hospital located in Hollywood, FL, conveniently situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This 13-week contract position begins on August 25 and offers two distinct shifts to accommodate different preferences: one daytime shift from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with rotating weekends, and one overnight shift from 11 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., also with rotating weekends. Both shifts operate on a five-day, eight-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include providing expert inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on pediatric dosing, ensuring safe and effective medication use for young patients. Working knowledge of EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is essential to facilitate accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong background in inpatient pharmacy operations
• Highly preferred experience in pediatric and NICU settings reflected clearly on resume
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
