Job Description

Openings are available at:
- Pinson Valley High School (full-time)
- McAdory Elementary/McCalla Elementary (split: 2 days/3 days)
- Hueytown Middle School/Lipscomb Elementary (split: 3 days/2 days)
These onsite, contract positions offer a consistent weekly schedule (37.5 hours per week) for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll have the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 60 students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- SLP-CCC or eligible CFs encouraged to apply
- Valid Alabama SLP license, including current SLP Educator Certificate (verify at the Alabama Teacher Certification portal)
- Fingerprint clearance per state requirements
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or working with school-aged children is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Role Highlights:

- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in cooperation with educators and families
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state/federal guidelines
