Emergency Medicine & ABEM - Locum Tenens - Connecticut-234883

Job Overview

• Start Date: Ongoing from 12/21/26

• Work Environment: Emergency Department

• Patient Load: Approximately 15 patients per shift

• Position Details:

  • Looking for locum coverage for 3-4 shifts weekly; other ongoing monthly availability may be considered

  • Night shifts from 11 PM to 9 AM (10 hours)

  • Involves standard emergency department procedures

  • Annual patient volume of 54,000

  • 24-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage with dual physician support from 7 AM to 2 AM; locum will operate solo from 2 AM to 7 AM

• Client Requirements: Must be ABEM certified; active Connecticut license or IMLC required

• Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC

• Our organization can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will provide malpractice coverage.
