Hospital Overview

Located in Merriam, Kansas, our facility, formerly known as Shawnee Mission Medical Center, is a 504-bed acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metropolitan area, particularly Johnson County. Since joining our network in 2002, we have been committed to delivering faith-based, holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Established in 1962, our hospital has deep community roots, formed through a partnership among local leaders, the Johnson County Medical Society, and the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church to meet the healthcare needs of the area.
