Function: WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Newark, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high quality perioperative care. Job Responsibilities: Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure Handle and label specimens according to policy Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow **** Requirements: Job requirements: Active NJ or Compact RN License (must be active at submission) BLS – American Heart Association Minimum 2.5 years of CVOR or high acuity OR experience EPIC charting experience required Locals: Accepted at same rate Submission notes: Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM EOW SSN & DOB Updated Resume Skills Checklist Nursys License Verification Certifications: AHA BLSPandologic.
