Providing pharmacy services across a large, culturally rich healthcare network, this role involves comprehensive medication management for diverse patient populations including neonatal to geriatric and specialized care such as oncology and obstetrics. The position rotates through day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, following a 7-on/7-off schedule with assigned weekly work from Wednesday to Tuesday. Daily hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and weekends from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pharmacy and medication management services in inpatient and outpatient settings at main campus and satellite clinics.
  • Provide direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.
  • Advance through pharmacist tiers toward Advanced Practice Pharmacist roles involving clinical services and administration.
  • Manage specialized pharmacy clinics and oversee clinical programs to maintain high-quality care.
  • Supervise technical and administrative pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
  • Comply with healthcare policies, standards, and the mission and values of the organization.
  • Obtain fingerprint clearance prior to start.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
  • Current valid, unrestricted pharmacy license from any U.S. state, territory, or District of Columbia (Arizona license not required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
  • Enthusiasm for travel and gaining experience within Indian Health Service facilities.
