Step into a rewarding contract role supporting Pre-K to elementary students as an Occupational Therapist near Snohomish, WA, with assignments based in Marysville. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid (or eligible) Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience in pediatric/school-based OT environments preferred.
  • Deep understanding of child development, learning styles, and factors affecting student success.
  • Awareness of implicit bias, culturally responsive teaching, and anti-racist practices.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and multi-tiered systems of support (Tiers 1-3).
  • Knowledge of state/federal regulations on Special Education, confidentiality, and school operations.
  • Training or willingness to pursue training in restraint or aversive interventions.
  • Passion for supporting students of all backgrounds and needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continually improve OT programs in alignment with student IEPs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to ensure holistic support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to best practices in occupational therapy and equity work.
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services across three school sites.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and district policies.
