Job Description
Exciting contract opportunities are available for passionate occupational therapists to make a positive impact in educational settings near Seattle, WA. We are seeking three dynamic professionals ready to support students’ diverse needs and help shape their success, primarily at the elementary level with a small caseload at one middle school. These roles offer the chance to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth and independence.
Details:
- One full-time position: August 28–December 18
- One part-time role (0.6 FTE): October 10–March 1
- One position: August 27–January 2
- Caseload of approximately 36 students across elementary and middle school settings
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and paperwork
- Skilled in working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Evaluate and document students’ progress and therapy outcomes
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate strategies into daily routines
- Provide direct and consultative services in both group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and related documentation tasks
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student independence
