Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team. This role is primarily field-based (60%+ travel) providing on-site customer support for high-speed automation machinery, including installation, troubleshooting, and system rebuilds. When not on the road, you will work from our Tampa hub. You will report to the Service Manager and receive full technical briefings and parts kits before every assignment. While travel is scheduled during the standard work week whenever possible, off-hours work is occasionally required and fully compensated. Essential Duties and Responsibilities On-Site Service: Lead the installation and lineup of custom automated machinery at customer facilities. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on-site. Rebuilds: Perform precision rebuilds on custom components to extend machine life. Reporting: Document all site visits via service and expense reports. Customer Success: Help clients identify and order essential spare parts to minimize downtime. 4+ years of experience in automation machinery service or maintenance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading pneumatic and electrical schematics. Hands-on Ability: High competency with hand/power tools and basic math (fractions/decimals). Travel: Ability to travel extensively (60%+), including overnight and multi-day trips. Licensing: Valid Driver"s License and a clean driving record.
