Behavioral Health, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Charleston, WV

Role Overview

• Part-time (2-3 days per week) within Monday - Friday
\n
• No nights or weekends
\n
• Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation
\n
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
\n
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
\n
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
\n
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
\n
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
\n
• Coverage area includes Huntington and Charleston, WV, and Morgantown, WV (virtual)

Compensation and Benefits\n

\n
• Compensation is fee for service (FFS), estimated compensation range of $55,553 - $66,664 annually with no cap on productivity income
\n
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
\n

\n
Qualifications\n

\n
• Active, unrestricted Indiana license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
\n
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
\n
• New grads accepted
\n
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred
\n
