Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available in a retail setting in Binghamton, NY, offering a direct hire opportunity with a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts. This position requires dedication to pharmacy operations while leading a team to deliver exceptional healthcare services and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, strengthening associate engagement and clearly communicating departmental and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Drive business profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Collaborate with the district pharmacy team to monitor inventories, track sales, and optimize pharmaceutical stock levels.
- Align team performance with seven key metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness within the pharmacy department.
- Provide exemplary customer service through healthcare counseling and resolution of medical-related inquiries.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing training, coaching, discipline, and overall team development.
- Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized environment.
- Address customer issues to build trust and loyalty while liaising with physicians to resolve prescription-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team building and customer service.
- Experience managing pharmacy operations, inventory control, and compliance.
Schedule Details:
- 62 hours bi-weekly
