You’ll have the flexibility to work onsite or virtually, providing tailored therapies that make a lasting impact.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state, or eligible for state licensure
- Prior experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong ability to adapt therapy plans for a range of ages and abilities, K-12
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Comfortable navigating technology for documentation and virtual therapy, if needed
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ physical abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students meet IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated support
- Provide both direct and consultative physical therapy services, onsite or remotely, based on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and necessary records in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert guidance for developing student support strategies
