Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg - Mary Immaculate HospitalJob Overview:The Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients by:
- Employing strong organizational and leadership abilities to assess patient conditions
- Delivering care to individuals with medical and surgical diagnoses
- Executing clinical nursing interventions
- Possessing a broad range of medical skills
- Creating and implementing patient care plans to enhance outcomes
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Gather vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient conditions
- Review, update, and modify care plans to achieve desired outcomes
- Administer medications safely in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of one year of RN experience (required); six months of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
- Licensing & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must be obtained from an approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be accepted in place of BLS)
Salary Range:
Minimum: $34.33
Maximum: $54.93
