Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care by employing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care
• Conducting patient assessments
• Providing patient education
• Triage and various nursing interventions

This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to effectively plan, implement, and assess care. The RN must demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice is essential. Our professional nursing practice framework acknowledges the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association, serving as the foundation for nursing care delivery and professional behavior.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Required to obtain and maintain department-specific licenses, competencies, and certifications.
