Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Pulmonary Unit is expanding! Our clinical team collaborates closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to deliver exceptional care to patients facing acute and chronic respiratory challenges.
Within the advanced facilities of the new Main Tower, the Pulmonary nurse is tasked with providing exemplary nursing care to patients in acute settings. This involves utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse operates in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, from infancy to end-of-life.
- Maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
- Adapting patient ratios based on various factors, including patient volume and acuity, with the possibility of adjustments in extenuating circumstances.
Minimum Education:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience:
New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS certification is also required.
Additional Qualifications:
- For PRN roles: A year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Advanced certification in the relevant specialty area is advantageous (refer to addendum).
- Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
