School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Cedar Hill, Texas

Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational community near Cedar Hill, TX. With four positions available for both elementary and high school settings, you'll play a crucial role in helping students find their voice and succeed in the classroom. This is an onsite opportunity, running full-time (40 hours per week) from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in school-based SLP roles strongly desired
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting language, articulation, and social communication needs across K-12
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech-language services to assigned student caseloads at elementary and/or high school levels
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop targeted IEP goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions focusing on articulation, fluency, language, and social communication
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to ongoing collaboration with educators, special education teams, and parents to promote student success
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development throughout the school year
